Berlin's first Jewish cemetery, in use from 1672 to 1827, on Große Hamburger Straße in Mitte, destroyed in 1943; today a memorial garden with a symbolic gravestone for Moses Mendelssohn, next to a memorial on the site of the Jewish old-age home used as a deportation assembly camp.
