This page explains the rules for using the Kosher Traveling site.
As of today the database includes:
Kosher Traveling gathers information about kosher restaurants and markets, Chabad houses, synagogues, hotels, mikvehs and Shabbat and holiday times at destinations around the world. The information is collected from the field, from the businesses themselves and from the communities, and verified by our team where possible.
The information here is general information, not a halachic ruling. A business's kashrut level, the validity of its certificate, opening hours and prices all change - and we cannot guarantee that the information is accurate at any given moment. Before relying on a specific detail, particularly in matters of kashrut, check it with the business, with the local rabbi, or with the certifying authority. The responsibility to check is yours.
Automated summaries and answers are composed from directory data and may be incomplete or outdated. They are not a religious ruling, personal advice or confirmation from a business. A place’s verification status and date describe the information checked at that time and do not guarantee that circumstances have remained unchanged.
Provide accurate details and protect your sign-in methods. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us and secure your credentials with the sign-in provider. Privacy rights can also be exercised for a blocked account.
Trip plans are organizational tools and do not book services or guarantee availability, price, kashrut or admission to prayers or meals. Make a separate booking or contact the venue where required. You are responsible for the details you enter and permission to share other travellers’ information. Anyone holding a sharing link can view the plan under the sharing options you selected; avoid public sharing when it contains personal data. You can revoke or replace the link from the trip, but this does not delete files or copies already saved by recipients.
A message you send is kept by us and by the business you contacted, as described in the privacy policy. We are not a party to the conversation and are not responsible for what a business writes or promises.
Bookings are made with external partners. The booking, payment and cancellation are subject to the partner's terms:
Some links are affiliate links and we may receive a commission after a booking. Prices, availability, insurance cover and cancellation terms are determined by the provider; check them before purchasing. A link is not a guarantee of availability or personal suitability and is not insurance advice. Provider terms do not remove mandatory legal rights.
You retain rights in content you provide. By submitting a place, correction or confirmation, you allow us to review, edit and publish information needed to update the directory, without transferring ownership. Provide only information you are entitled to share and avoid unnecessary personal details. This permission does not publish private messages, privacy requests or trip plans; they are used to provide the requested service under the privacy policy. Harmful, misleading, unlawful or rights-infringing content may be rejected or removed. You can contact us to request correction or removal.
Rights in the site’s design and original content belong to their owners. Users, businesses and external providers retain their rights; these terms do not claim ownership of public facts. Third-party maps and content are also subject to the licences and attribution displayed with them. You may link to the site and use content as permitted by law or the applicable licence. Systematic copying of protected works or rights-infringing use requires appropriate permission.
The site provides information and planning tools and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or real-time accuracy of every detail. A service booked with an external provider is delivered by that provider under its agreement and applicable law. The site operator’s liability is determined by applicable law; these terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
An account or access may be restricted for misuse, breach of law or these terms, harm to others or a security risk. Restrictions will, where possible, be proportionate to the circumstances, and you may contact us for clarification or review. Urgent risks may require immediate restriction. Blocking does not remove your ability to request access, correction or deletion of personal data. Ending use or deleting site data does not cancel external bookings or automatically delete copies held by message recipients or backups; retention details and exceptions appear in the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the law of Israel.
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Israel.
Choice of law and jurisdiction is subject to mandatory rights and provisions of applicable law and does not remove protections that cannot be waived.
This is version 3 of the terms, effective from 7 October 2026.
