The Sephardic Kahal Kadosh Shalom synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of the Old Town, built in 1577 and the oldest synagogue in Greece, with a black-and-white pebble mosaic floor and the tevah in the centre of the hall. Services are held on the High Holidays and special occasions, and the Jewish Museum of Rhodes is in the same complex.
